About the Maker

My name is Alex, and I'm the creative force behind The Dominirican Crafter. I'm a fiber artist based in New England.
My love of creating started as a child. My Abuela and Títa are both trained sewists, and taught me at a young age how to handsew and embroider. From there, I taught myself how to crochet and knit amongst other fiber arts. Variety adds a little spice!
Thanks to the pandemic, I picked up a needle and thread again. Due to my interest in many arts, my finished projects are an eclectic mix. Here you will find digital crochet patterns to one of a kind art dolls.
I hope you enjoy this space and come along for the ride as I share my love of making.
